It’s been a really warm winter, with alternating rain and snow and cold. Because of the this, the driveway accumulated a coating of solid ice. Because the area in front of the garage, where the cars are parked, gets no sun, a large pile of ice has built up between the cars. Even when it melted, there was nowhere for the water to go. It made getting into the car an adventure.
Taking advantage of the warm weather, we chipped up some of the ice that has accumulated in the driveway.
